Last March 31st, we held the Inaugural Meeting of the new SWISSCAM Committee: the Tax and Accounting Committee.
The multidisciplinary group aims to enrich the environment for exchanging content and experiences, addressing current and relevant topics in the tax and accounting areas.
The meeting took place via Zoom platform, with the participation of 36 associates, and was moderated by coordinator Marcello Veiga, Head of Tax at Zurich Seguros Brasil, with long experience in the financial market. Marcello emphasized the idea that the committee should be dynamic and interactive, that it should have an open introduction, without a fixed agenda, and hopes that it will soon have its meetings at a face-to-face level.
Afterwards, the space was opened for the participants to introduce themselves, to contribute with suggestions of topics that are of relevance to the member companies and to express their interest in presenting a topic.
We thank the members for their valuable contribution and we will soon release the agenda of themes and speakers for 2022.
