Headquartered in Switzerland, the company is present in over 40 countries, with over 1,000 employees and 10 manufacturing units located in the following countries: Switzerland, USA, Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Arabia Saudi, China and India.

Founded in 1964 by the Reichle and De-Massari families in Switzerland, with the work initially being done in their own homes. Founders Renato De-Massari and Hans Reichle developed revolutionary telecom products for the time, the company gradually gained ground and in 1981 moved to the new facility in Wetzikon. Thanks to a lot of investment, motivation and high specialization in the market until 1998 R&M was already present in other regions such as Germany, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Austria and Hungary. Over the years R&M has continued to invest in new technologies and expand its business around the world, becoming a strong, reliable and very present brand in the market.
In 2012, R&M’s first CEO Michel Riva takes over and brings even greater strength to the business, shifting his vision and focus to future market trends. It was with this vision that in 2014 R&M decided to invest more in the Brazilian market and opened its office in the country.
Despite the difficulties encountered in the Brazilian market, R&M quickly gained its place in the market and in 2017 further expanded its business in Brazil with the acquisition of fiber optic activities of the Brazilian Petcom Group, with production located in Santa Rita do Sapucaí – MG, a highly technological center, considered the Brazilian Silicon Valley.
