13/Jun/2018 - Palestras

SWISSCAM promoted the first edition of the Sustainability Breakfast organized by the Sustainability Committee with the lecture given by Amir Safaei, responsible for the internationalization of projects in emerging countries of the Swiss association ecoinvent.

Amir Safaei holds an MBA from the University of Glasgow. He later followed his passion and obtained a PhD in sustainable energy systems. During this time he gained valuable knowledge and practical experience in LCA methodology. Currently, employing both his business skills and expertise in LCA, Amir focuses on evolving ecoinvent into a dynamic global LCI database.

SRI (Sustainable Recycling Industries) is a program funded by the Secretariat of Economy of Switzerland (SECO) and implemented in Brazil since 2015 by ecoinvent.

The event was aimed at

• share SRI-LCI achievements, status and perspectives

• present the meaning and application of SRI capacity development and LCI data collection and management activities in policy and industry planning
