Hospitalar is the most complete and specialized trade fair for the healthcare sector in Brazil and Latin America. It offers a broad platform for all national and international manufacturers and distributors of medical technology, healthcare equipment and consumer goods, as well as hospital management, training, education, among others.
The target audience is healthcare professionals (physicians, hospital management, suppliers, nursing, rehabilitation, diagnostic centers, laboratories) from Brazil and Latin America. The exhibition aims to provide information on the latest products, equipment and technologies.
In its last edition, it received more than 50,000 unique visitors and 80,000 professional visits from 80 countries and had around 1,200 exhibiting brands from 27 different countries, consolidating itself as the largest and most important event in the sector in Latin America.

In 2024, Brazil has 4,599 private hospitals, with the majority located in the Southeast region (1,910), followed by the Northeast region (1,048) and the South region (862). The highest concentration of hospitals is in São Paulo and Minas Gerais. During the same period, Brazil has 264,643 beds in private hospitals.
In 2023, Brazil’s health sector expenditures represented 9% of its GDP, amounting to R$977.26 billion. Of this, 40.85% was sourced from public funds and 59.15% from private sources.
