The APAS Show is the largest beverage and food event in the Americas and the largest supermarket fair in the world. Over the course of the four-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to gain insight into the latest developments and innovations across a range of sectors, including food and beverage, technology, logistics, finance, infrastructure, equipment, and more.

The APAS Show is a comprehensive event that brings together the largest companies in the national and international production chain, aimed at those who want to do business, network, follow news, launches, and share knowledge.

In its most recent edition, the event attracted over 73,000 visitors, with approximately 850 brands showcasing their products in an exhibition area spanning 78,000 square meters. This has cemented its position as the largest and most significant event in the sector in Latin America.

The ABIA (Brazilian Food Industry Association) report indicates that the food industry sector generated revenues of R$1.2 trillion in 2023, representing 10.8% of Brazilian GDP in the same year.

In 2023, Brazil imported a total value of USD 135,861,226 from Switzerland, with roasted coffee and its derivatives, drinks (mainly alcoholic), chocolate, oils, fats and derivatives, animal food, confectionery products, sugar and cheese products representing the main imported foods.

Switzerland has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the food, agricultural, and nutritional sectors, consistently striving to advance food technology. Brazilian companies are attracted to Switzerland due to its solid technological knowledge, highly qualified workforce, and the fact that it is the headquarters of large, recognized companies in Brazil.
