Between the 29th of August and the 2nd of September, SWISSCAM’s Executive Director, Mariana Badra, was in Zurich for an intense networking and exchange program with several entities, in addition to having the opportunity to meet some of our members in Switzerland.
The Trade Promotion Seminar, promoted by Switzerland Global Enterprise, brought together representatives of Swiss chambers of commerce from more than 20 countries in 3 days of exchanging experiences, an overview of the Swiss economy, cooperation with S-GE, in addition to a visit to the company Reichle & De Massari at Wetzikon, global leader in cabling and connectivity solutions.
On September 1st, the Latin America Day took place, an annual event held by the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland, in cooperation with Switzerland Global Enterprise, at the Zurich Development Center. Representatives of 11 Swiss chambers in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela) presented themselves and showed facts and figures for their respective market.
The event also featured lectures by representatives of the Swiss government on relations between Switzerland and Latin America, economy, success stories in sustainable solutions for infrastructure, including our member Geobrugg AG, among others.
