The film Diplonapped promises to bring to the screen one of the most remarkable episodes in the history between Brazil and Switzerland: the kidnapping of the Swiss ambassador in Rio de Janeiro in 1970. The political thriller, based on real events, dramatises the events from the perspective of two women – a Swiss journalist and a Brazilian guerrilla fighter – who, throughout the plot, transform not only the course of history, but also their own lives.
Interested companies have the opportunity to support this cultural project through tax incentive laws, which allow the film to be financed at no additional cost. In addition to contributing to the preservation of historical memory and the strengthening of Brazilian cinema, this support guarantees institutional visibility in a project of international relevance.
