A Sociedade Escolar São Nicolau de Flüe é uma associação dedicada à preservação e gestão do patrimônio histórico, cultural e arquitetônico da COLÔNIA HELVETIA, além da administração de sua infraestrutura central e da promoção de atividades sociais, comunitárias e recreativas. As expressões mais autênticas da cultura suíça — harmoniosamente entrelaçadas ao espírito brasileiro — revelam-se nos grupos folclóricos de dança, no canto Jodel, na música, no toque dos sinos, no jogo de Jass e no ensino da língua alemã, perpetuando as tradições trazidas pelos imigrantes de Obwalden.
Fundado em 1994 com o propósito de reunir famílias e fortalecer os laços comunitários em ocasiões especiais — como casamentos, bodas, batizados, aniversários e outras celebrações — o então Buffet Helvetia consolidou-se como um espaço de convivência e valorização do centenário patrimônio da Colônia. Hoje, sob o nome Helvetia – Espaço e Gastronomia, o local une tradição, acolhimento e excelência gastronômica, mantendo-se como referência para eventos sociais, culturais e corporativos em um cenário histórico singular
São Nicolau de Flüe School Society is an association dedicated to the preservation and management of the historical, cultural, and architectural heritage of COLÔNIA HELVETIA, as well as the administration of its central infrastructure and the promotion of social, community, and recreational activities. The most authentic expressions of Swiss culture – harmoniously intertwined with the Brazilian spirit – are revealed in folk dance groups, yodeling, music, bell ringing, the game of Jass, and German language teaching, perpetuating the traditions brought by immigrants from Obwalden.
Founded in 1994 with the purpose of bringing families together and strengthening community ties on special occasions – such as weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, birthdays, and other celebrations – the Buffet Helvetia established itself as a space for socializing and appreciating the colony’s century-old heritage. Today, under the name Helvetia – Espaço e Gastronomia, the venue combines tradition, hospitality, and gastronomic excellence, remaining a benchmark for social, cultural, and corporate events in a unique historical setting
